The team will give you advice over the phone, or meet you: the choice is yours. If you need ongoing support, you can be assigned a domestic abuse specialist social worker. A child can be given support by a family support worker.
If no one is available, leave a message with a contact number that’s safe to call. The service is voluntary; you can stop contact with them at any time.
Aberdeen Cyrenians – Violence Against Women
Provides support to vulnerable women of all ages who have experienced or are currently experiencing physical, emotional or sexual abuse. This includes women who are involved in prostitution. The service is available to women in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
Provides support and advocacy to survivors of rape and sexual violence. Survivors can access information on legal and medical issues. They also provide information and support to families, friends and partners to enable them to support the survivor in the long term.
